Sherman Titens

Sherman Titens, Founding Partner of ChamberWise passed away in March, 2014.

Sherman Titens, JD was the Founder and Executive Director of the 1600 member Family Owned Business Network on Linked In – Facebook and Twitter.

Sherman had more than 25 years of experience as attorney and consultant to family owned business; author, lecturer and educator focused on “Success, Survival, Succession and Generational Transition in Family Owned Business.”

In addition, he was non-family President/CEO of a substantial family owned business. He had served as a consultant, guest lecturer to the Kauffman Foundation Urban Entrepreneur and Fast Track Programs.

Author of: 123 Secrets for Success in Your Family Owned Business, Practical Business Ethics, Building an Image for Your Business and Co-Author of Applied Research at the Graduate Level, Edition 1-5, all published by Parkway Press. He served as Family Business Editor, Corporate Reports magazine; Family Business Columnist, Thinking Bigger Business, Family Ties Online and and as a regular contributor to Association News.

Sherman also designed and conducted family owned business research; was author/editor of Family Business Newsletter and Not-for-Profit Newsletter published by CBIZ.

He was a graduate of Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio and admitted to Ohio Bar and Federal Court Practice US 6th Circuit.

Sybil Schechter-Kelly

Sybil Schechter-Kelly has spent her professional life in the banking industry, ending her forty year career as the President of a local bank.

Sybil has belonged to the Mundelein/Vernon Hills Rotary club for twenty years and has served as a past chairman of the board of a four town chamber (GLMV). She is presently president of Mundelein Community connection and volunteers for Feed my Starving Children and United Way.
